Each unit is individually MIG welded for strength and nickel-chromed for long life and attractive appearance. The diverse choice of seat and back combinations of these units will meet your preferences, needs, and cost considerations. The 680 Series is made with a Melamine Resin solid plastic seat and back that assures you a lifetime of functional good looks and minimal maintenance. The 680 has a 5/8" solid plastic seat and back. The 680 is available in a sled base, double-entry unit in the 17-1/2" height that works well in carpeted areas. It is also available in an extra large size with a shell seat that is larger than any in the industry. This desk accommodates larger students and has been designed with the added strength of a tube within a tube design on critical parts to give extreme durability. The distance from the desktop surface to the back of the seat has been increased from 15-1/2" to 17-3/4" for extra room needed by larger students and athletes.
